Short Description

Training and advisory services: ANTTARC has contributed to capacity building of hundreds of non-profit and public organizations in Albania, Kosova, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and East Timor. ANTTARC’s capacity building includes both comprehensive long-term programs and training courses and consultancy assignments. Main experiences include: Support to Local Government Units (Intercooperation Albania, Decentralization and Local Development Programme; 2007–9); Capacity Building Facility for Kosova (Kosova; UNDP/SOROS; 2004, 2009); Strengthening the Capacity of Albanian NGOs (Albania; CAAHT/USAID; 2005-6); Strengthening the Capacity of Albanian Youth-Serving NGOs (Albania; BCYF/USAID; 2003-5); Montenegro Advocacy Program (Montenegro; ORT/USAID; 2002-4); Organizational development of the Institute of Social Policy (Kosova; CARE; 2002); Strengthening the Capacity and Sustainability of Albanian NGOs (Albania; NOVIB; 2000-1); East Timor Human Rights Support Program (East Timor; Freedom House/USAID; 2001); Kosova Protection Corps Organization Development (Kosova; IOM; June-December 2000); Institutional Development Grant Program (Albania; ORT/USAID; 1999-2000);

Assessment and Evaluation: ANTTARC has conducted numerous studies, assessment and evaluation activities. Main experiences include: Impact Assessment of CAAHT Coordination, Capacity Building with Grantees, and Prevention Services (Creative Associates; 2009); Study on Economic and Social Situation of Korca District (Dorcas, 2007-8); Training Needs Assessment in Public Procurement (Millennium Challenge Albania Threshold Agreement Project, 2007); Evaluation of Child Protection Office Kukes (UNICEF, 2007); Training needs assessment for Albanian Parliament’s administration (OSCE Albania, 2003).

Project management: ANTTARC has also managing numerous projects including: Managing Creative Cities 2: Maximizing the Potential of Albanian Cities (Swiss Cultural Program; 2008-11); Back stopping for AGROPUKA during the consolidation phase of the “Promoting Agriculture in the District of Puka” Project (Albania; SDC/Agropuka; 2008–9); Training for Professionals on Protecting the Rights of Child Victims of Trafficking in Albania Project (Albania; UNICEF; 2007–8); Regional Infrastructure Program (Albania; USAID/Booz Allen Hamilton; 2001-3).
